Tutorial Approach

We offer an engaging and interactive tutoring experience for all students that is based on YOUR Data.

Each tutoring session builds in components of Social Emotional Learning (SEL).

We use SEL learning techniques to train students in character development and leadership skills. We focus on skills that help our students to become more self-aware, develop positive relationships, show empathy towards others, manage emotions, use self-control, resolve conflicts, and make positive decisions.

Private Tutoring

We provide online, 1-on-1, or small group tutoring over 50 subject areas. We have a successful track record of helping students to improve by closing skills gaps and providing homework assistance.  We match the best tutors to our students by evaluating students’ skill levels, learning styles, interests, and more.  Once that match is made the student works the same tutor for all their sessions.  This helps student and tutor to build an excellent rapport and promotes a successful learning environment. Tutoring is conveniently available online, in school, in-home, or another agreed-upon loon.

Group Tutoring

We provide group tutoring for those students who perform better in this type of setting. Group tutoring allows students to share strategies for learning while promoting cooperation and understanding. It provides opportunities for students to share experiences, learn from one another, build self-confidence, and develop study skills. Asking questions, engaging in group discussions, and practicing problems are among the strategies used to encourage participation and learning.

Students’ own work, memory, and understanding are validated and reinforced when they are able to help others. Each student plays an active role in the learning of the group.  Students should come with a positive attitude and a wiliness to contribute to make the most of the experience. Although the group setting is limiting in the amount of personal attention each student can receive, individual attention can be provided in a group environment.
